In this midterm paper you will apply the organization theory of the readings to the description of the food system put forth in the book \”Recipe for America\”.
The paper should:
Illustrate how the organizations of the food system exemplify Perrow\’s thesis.
Explain how the food system, as Richardson describes it, serves as an example of Magdoff and Lewontin\’s analysis.
Explain how the alternatives that Richardson puts forth in Chapter 5 counteracts the processes that Perrow discusses and restores autonomy and community to society.
I will upload an additional sheet with more instructions from the professor of what should be included in the paper. I will also upload a list of the sources/references which are the readings I was referring to above. No additional sources should be used aside from the ones I will provide.
Lastly I will need this to be referenced in ASA style.
