The legislative and Executive branches have constitutional authority in different areas of government. There are many areas in which authority is split between the legislative and the executive such as over judicial and cabinet nominees, treaties, war powers, and bureaucratic administration. Describe the extent of authority each branch has in each of these areas and explain the ways in which conflicts arise and are resolved. Be sure to give examples of these conflicts.
