Managing Strategic Performance

It is a reflective essay that allows you to demonstrate your engagement with the subject content and group work.

This subject has given you the opportunity to work as a group to analyse the performance management practices of real-world organisations and critique the viability of performance management in future human resource practice. At the conclusion of this session, you are now required to combine your newfound knowledge and apply it to your personal experience working in groups towards the group presentation.

Succinct and considered summary of group work. Demonstrated strong engagement with group work.

2. Outline the performance of each of your group members, including yourself.
Discussion of group member performance (10%)
Succinct and considered analysis of group members performance. Fair and transparent communication of experiences.

Group members:
1. michelle huang – creative thinking, gave out ideas on how we should perform in the presentation and the activity in the presentation to get the class motivated
2. Demi tran – presentation designer. and summaries everyones speech.
3. Katherine Noel – prepared chocolate gifts for the activity that we need to do in presentation
4. Asmma Zreika- finished her work at the latest because she had personal issues. but she did good in presenting her speech
5. Sashna Kumar – good speaker
6. myself – i could of done more practice for my speech, when i was presenting i need to read out off my palm card. can\’t memories the speech.
Our communication was great, but we could of meet up more early to prepare things. we didn\’t have much time to practice the presentation as a group in the end.

Style and presentation
-Maintain a clear and coherent structure with a response plan.
-Perfect referencing standards and a reference list are not required for the exam, but make it clear to the marker by explicitly referring to theories/frameworks.
-Write clearly and legibly.

Tips
Take advantage of the time to assemble notes and catch up on readings.
Distinguish yourself by demonstrating deep understanding with this subject, critique theories and not just regurgitate them, think honestly and sincerely about how you would do PM differently in the future.
