Classify the good, bad, and tolerable characteristics of being a team member.Understanding the forming stage of group development can help me to become more effectively in groups in the future. I want to continue to develop into a more leadership role. In the forming stage, team members meet and get to know each other and discuss objects, goals and plans. As I continue to develop and take on more leadership roles in my career, I can get a lot of experience in the forming stage by assembling the right members of a group that will make the project successful. I would also get better at providing direction and objectives to the group so all members are on the same page.In a former position, I worked as a computer drafter apart of a design team. For the most part my team experience was good. The members of the team were all similar in skills and were all capable of completing their parts of assignments and projects. The bad part was when a member wouldn\’t follow and use the same design standards, which makes everything run smoothly when the next member of the team picks up where you have left off. Another bad part is when their is not good communication between group members. Whenever everyone was not on the same page due to a lack of communication projects would get delayed. There wouldn\’t be a clear direction of who was doing what.
