The essay is to request a waiver for giving GMAT for my Professional MBA application at SMU Cox School of Business in Dallas.
I want to petition to the admissions committee that my graduate school GPA as well as 10 years of work experience demonstrate the same high levels of analytical and quantitative skills which would be tested by the GMAT exam.
I graduated from SMU in 2006 with Masters of Science in Telecommunications engineering with GPA of 3.79/4.0. I also have a Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics from University of Mumbai, India
I also have 10 years of work experience working as an engineer in telecommunications industry where I have used my technical, analytical and quantitative skills to work on cutting edge networks and solutions, troubleshoot problems, create solutions and reports for a variety of clients.
