Assessment Details: You will submit a 2500 word essay. The essay will be a retrospective reflection on the learning that you have achieved as a result of developing 3 presentations on set topics and a consideration of how you might apply this learning to future practice.
What you need to do:
1. During the module you will be given 3 set activities to complete in groups. These will be related to 3 different topic areas namely concepts influencing relationship centred care; biological concepts for health and human development across the life course. 2. You will be expected to present these to each other and discuss them during the module and will receive both peer and facilitator feedback. You will be expected to constructively comment on each others work in order to challenge ideas and facilitate the subsequent development of these on an individual essay. 3. In the summative essay you will be expected to reflect upon the content of all 3 presentations and discuss what you have learnt from the process and how this might guide your future practice.
Marking Criteria: The marking criteria are descriptions, based on the modules learning outcomes, of the skills, knowledge or attributes you need to demonstrate at level 7 to achieve a certain grade or mark in an assessment.. Your feedback will be based on them.
Specific Marking Criteria: Essay will have logical and coherent development and demonstrate evidence of critical reflection on learning in relation to the 3 presentations.
