Rhetorical Analysis paper. In this paper, you will be using the concepts of Logos, Ethos, and Pathos to analyze a piece of argumentative writing. That piece of writing is the article ?Reality TV: A Dearth of Talent and the Death of Morality? by Salman Rushdie. Rushdie, Salman (2001, June 9). Reality TV: a dearth of talent and the death of morality. The Guardian, pg. 12. Link is here: https://www.theguardian.com/books/2001/jun/09/salmanrushdie Essentially, the paper calls for a three pronged approach. The first section, the introduction, calls for establishing the ?rhetorical situation? by examining the context of the article, some personal history of the author, and by looking at who the intended audience might be, and by identifying the issue being presented. The second part, the body, will include an analysis of any rhetorical appeals that you see being employed. If, for example, Rushdie appears to be using Logos, identify where in the text this occurs and focus on explaining the apparent rationale that the author might have used to justify his argument. Lastly, in the conclusion, explore and critique the effectiveness of the rhetorical appeals. Were they effective and convincing? Why or why not?
