This assignment asks you to consider the context of International Human Resource Management as discussed during the lectures and seminars of week 1-4 of your semester. More specifically, you are expected to write a report about the effects of diversity and multiculturalism at the workplace in U.K. context, and critically evaluate the challenges and benefits from embracing multiculturalism in national level for national and multination businesses operating in the UK. Choose one company (MARRIOTT HOTEL) your specialisation area ( Events Management) as a case study and investigate their strategy, policy and procedures in regarding diversity and multiculturalism. The selection of the company should be approved by your tutor during the module personal tutorials throughout the first half of the semester.
