Rationale: An important theme in professional nursing practice is the ability to self-reflect on learning opportunities/experiences. Students are expected to write about the reflective question that is presented in the Weekly Schedule under Week 1 (What beliefs from your family have shaped who you are today and the decisions you make?). The reflection is purposely placed at the beginning of the course in order to allow for further reflection on the change of thoughts in relation to Family Nursing.Assessment Criteria: The Reflection will be in response to the question listed on the date of class in the Weekly Schedule under Week 1. The reflection should be under 4 pages (not including title page), double spaced, and APA 6th edition style. The marking rubric is in Appendix A of this document.
