Workkplace Challenges to Action Research.

Brydon-Miller, Greenwood, and Maguire talk about the strong relationship between action research and social change. They comment, however, that although action research promotes participation and is directed at equalizing power imbalances, they note that many schools and workplaces remain rigid and hierarchical. Describe your own work setting in the context of power relationships, and inclusion in decision making and planning. Based on this description, how successful do you think an action research approach will be in your workplace? What steps might you take, based on what you\’ve read to help get to that point?
The paper should least be 300 words.
